Meet Marissa: Massachusetts native, Dietitian, volleyball star, and ... my friend from freshman year of college?? That's right! Freshman year of college we lived on the same floor (go Lima 5!) and became wonderful friends. From watching her be a total badass at volleyball games to seeing her at my orchestra concerts, Marissa was a light in not just my life, but everyone who was around her! Then the sad news came that she was going to pursue a different major that our school did not offer and had to transfer. While I was heartbroken, she came back to visit a few times and even better, just moved to Boston where two of our other freshman floor friends also live! How cool is that?? Marissa reached out looking to update her LinkedIn headshot, but we decided to do a full session in the beautiful Boston Public Gardens so she could use these photos for a myriad of options and to one day, open up her own business! Who new at 18 that we'd both wind up becoming entrepreneurs??
What I love most about these photos is how well Marissa knew what colors complimented her and how she so naturally showed off her personality in her poses: sweet, smart, and radiant.
