Studio photos for mezzo soprano, Claire McCahan, at One Nine One Studio in South Boston!

Claire and I found out during this session that our birthdays are only a couple days apart, and everyone knows that two Scorpios in a room together are either major trouble or brilliant and I’d like to think we were the latter. ;)

Claire has an amazing larger-than-life personality and you can tell in the way that she carries herself that her work as a vocalist transpires to the very last seat in every hall she performs in.

During our pre-session chat, we had an in-depth conversation about what she wanted to showcase in these photos and even more so, what she wanted to avoid like being static with the same poses and expressions.
